A Group is a chat group that involves a selected group of people. Groups can consist of anyone who has been invited to your Business in Coast (including individuals you may have invited that are outside your Business such as a contractor, a consultant or vendor).

A group can be a “living” message board that keeps the communication of details between staff members all in one place about a specific topic. Instead of emailing or texting each other back and forth, you can create a group that keeps a recorded history of that topic. A “Daily Log Book”, for example can be helpful for keeping track of incidents, busier than normal days, tasks, etc.

Every group is private to the people in that group, just like a group text message. Every group also comes with a built-in Shared Task List, that is visible only to the members of that group.

There is no maximum number of groups that you can create in Coast, and there is no maximum number of people you can have in any group.
